The Burlington Farmers’ Market opens Mother’s Day weekend and is new location in its 40th year. Visit from 8:30am to 2pm at 345 Pine Street in the city’s South End.
Tuesday, July 11th
“HANDS in the Kitchen” Workshop Series, promoting healthy eating, offers cooking tips for adults 50 and over on Tuesdays from 4pm to 5:30pm at ONE Community Center, 20 Allen Street in Burlington. The BFA Fairfax Alumni Banquet is being held in the Richard A. Brown Gym, 75 Hunt Street in Fairfax. The social hour is at 5pm and the meal is at 6pm. Join your fellow alumni and welcome the seniors.
Carolyn’s Highgate Methodist Community Center, 3327 Route 78, is having a chicken ‘n biscuits dinner from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
Christ & St. John’s Episcopal, First Presbyterian and Three Steeples United Methodist Churches are sponsoring a Community Vacation Bible School from 4pm to 6pm at First Presbyterian, 52 Washington Avenue in Rouses Point. All are welcome. Also meet the Therapy Donkeys and enjoy pizza and live music.

The B3 Fest-Bikes, Brews & Beats, an annual celebration of Vermont mountain hiking, biking, craft beverages and music, is happening in Stowe. Stowe Trails Partnership is also offering group rides for beginners, intermediate and advanced. All ages are welcome.

The North Country Chamber of Commerce presents its 21st annual Great Adirondack Car Show, Craft Fair and Giant Garage Sale at the Crete Center in Plattsburgh from 10am to 3pm. St. Amadeus Parish, 75 North Main Street in Alburgh is hosting an Italian Night Dinner from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
Celtic Sons Motorcycle Ride and Family Fun Day to raise money for Angela Mulverhill of Malone, who is undergoing treatments for Stage 4 cancer, takes place at the St. Regis Falls Fire Station at 7 North River Road. Registration is from 9:30am to 11am. A chicken barbecue follows along with activities, a silent auction and raffles.
Camp Hochelaga in South Hero is having a community open house and centennial celebration from 10am to 2pm. There will be tours, activities, a free barbecue and cake. All are welcome.
The 3rd annual Rick Lyman motorcycle ride for the American Heart Association starts and ends at Post 1619 American Legion, West Plattsburgh. Registration is from 10am to 11am and a chicken barbecue and music happens at the end of the ride.
The University of Vermont Health Network-Elizabethtown Community Hospital and partners host the first ever Community Fun Day from 11am to 2pm at Moriah Central School. There will be health and safety information, demonstrations, activities and refreshments.
The Vermont Chapter of USA Dance is hosting a Family Social Dance at Holy Family Church, 28 Lincoln Street in Essex Junction from 6:30pm to 11pm. Children are welcome. Learn more at www.dancevermont.org

The Adirondack Coast Cultural Alliance hosts its 12th annual Museum Days Weekend throughout Clinton County. Visitors and residents can visit 16 participating museums for free both days. There will be demonstrations, tours, exhibits and activities for all ages.
Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts and Shelburne Museum present the Classic Auto Show celebrating trucks. All vehicles participating are 1994 and older. To register your vehicle or learn more, go to www.shelburnemuseum.org

St. Mary’s Church, 145 Square Road in Franklin is having an all-you-can-eat brunch from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
The Eagles Club, Route 100N in Jeffersonville is having a Fathers’ Day Breakfast from 8:30am to 11:30am.
The Rokeby Museum on Route 7 in Ferrisburgh welcomes Vermont Orchardist and author Blake Harrison with “Finding Roots in Vermont: Accommodating Tourism in an Unspoiled Landscape” at 3pm. It is $5 or free with museum admission.

The Naval tradition of minting a commemorative coin to celebrate the Commissioning of the USS Vermont invites Vermonters to submit a design by July 26th.
